This policy explains what information WowCity collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers the WowCity Seller app for shops (Android package com.luzzan.wowcity.seller), the WowCity shopper app (com.luzzan.wowcity), the WowCity web app, and this website, luzzan.com. In this policy, "WowCity", "we" and "us" mean the team that runs these services.
The short version
- We use your information only to run WowCity for you: sign-in, billing, stock, reports and showing your shop to nearby shoppers.
- We do not sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
- A shop's cost prices, suppliers, profit, customers and staff are never shown to shoppers.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time. See Delete your account.
Information we collect
Shop owners and staff (WowCity Seller)
- Account details: owner name, email address and/or mobile number, password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form), shop name, address, city, state, optional GSTIN, and the store's map location if you choose to set it.
- Business records you enter: products, prices, stock, product photos, purchases, suppliers, sales and bills, returns, payments, dues, and your shop's customers (for example a customer's name and phone number on a bill).
- Staff accounts: staff names, login details, store access and working hours that the owner sets.
Shoppers (WowCity app)
- Account details (optional): you can browse without an account. If you sign in, we keep your email address or mobile number, an optional name, and the products you save as favourites.
- Location: with your permission, the app uses your location to show shops and products near you. The location is sent with each search so nearby results can be found. It is not saved to your account.
Everyone
- Technical information: IP address, device and app version, and error logs. We use these to keep the service secure (for example to limit repeated sign-in attempts) and to fix problems. Logs are kept for a limited time.
- Messages you send us: if you use the Join form or contact support, we keep what you send so we can reply and help set up your shop.
Device permissions
- Camera (Seller app): to scan barcodes and take product photos. Scanning happens on your phone. Photos are uploaded only when you add them to a product.
- Photos (Seller app): to choose product pictures you want to upload.
- Location (Seller app): only when you tap "Use my location" to pin your store. (Shopper app): to show what is near you, only while you use the app. We never request background location.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and send one-time sign-in codes.
- To run billing, stock, purchases, dues, labels, reports and GST summaries for your shop.
- To show the products a shop chooses to list, with the details it chooses to share, to shoppers nearby.
- To provide support, set up your products when you ask us to, and tell you about important changes to the service.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that run WowCity for us, under contracts that limit how they may use it:
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Google Cloud: application servers.
- Cloudflare: product image storage and this website.
- Resend: sending sign-in codes and support emails.
- An SMS provider, when sign-in codes are sent by SMS.
What a shop chooses to list (for example product name, size, colour, price and the shop's address) is public in the shopper app by design. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Where it is stored and how it is protected
Information is stored with the providers above, in data centres that may be outside India. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Database access is restricted to our servers. Staff access is limited to what the shop owner allows. Every sale, return and stock change is recorded.
How long we keep it
- Shopper accounts: until you delete the account. Deleting removes your login and favourites straight away.
- Shop accounts: while the account is open. When an owner deletes the account, the shop is removed from the shopper app, all staff and devices are signed out, and the owner's login is deleted. Bills, tax records and ledgers are kept only for as long as Indian tax law requires, and then deleted.
- Join form and support messages: as long as needed to help you, and no longer than 2 years.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct your shop and account details in the app.
- Export your items, sales and reports to Excel (CSV).
- Turn off location or camera access at any time in your phone's settings.
- Delete your account in the app, or ask us to: see Delete your account.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or raise a concern, by emailing support@luzzan.com.
Children
WowCity Seller is for businesses. The WowCity shopper app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
